Acceptance of these terms

By using Calcaholic.com or embedding any of our calculators on another website, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you don't agree, please don't use the site — we'll miss you, but that's how terms work.

Use of the site

Calcaholic's calculators are free for personal, educational, and commercial use through this website and through our official embed snippets. You agree not to: use automated tools to scrape, copy, or republish our content or calculators; attempt to disrupt or overload the site; or misrepresent Calcaholic results as guaranteed professional advice. All results are informational estimates, as described in our Disclaimer.

Embedding our calculators on your website

We grant website owners a free, non-exclusive, revocable license to embed our calculators using the official snippet from any calculator's "Add to your website" button or our embed page, subject to these conditions:

• Keep the attribution. The "Powered by Calcaholic" link included in the snippet must remain visible and unmodified. It's the entire price of the license.
• Embed, don't copy. The license covers framing our hosted calculators via the official snippet. Copying our code, content, or design to host your own version is not permitted.
• No paywalls or misrepresentation. Don't charge users specifically for access to our calculators, present them as your own product, or imply Calcaholic endorses your site, products, or services.
• Appropriate contexts only. Don't embed our calculators on sites dedicated to illegal activity, hate, or deception.
• We may update or retire calculators. Embedded calculators receive our updates automatically. We may modify, replace, or discontinue any calculator, or revoke embedding permission for sites violating these terms, at any time without notice.

That's the whole deal. If you have an edge case, ask us — we're friendly.

Intellectual property

The Calcaholic name, logo, site design, calculator implementations, and written content are the property of Calcaholic.com. The underlying mathematical formulas are, of course, math — nobody owns those, and our pages happily teach them to you.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site and its calculators are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. As detailed in our Disclaimer, results are estimates for general information — not medical, financial, tax, legal, or engineering advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calcaholic.com shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the site, its calculators, or embedded versions of them, including decisions made based on calculator results.

Advertising and third-party links

The site displays advertising (see our Privacy Policy) and may contain affiliate links. Linked third-party sites have their own terms and policies, which we don't control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
